BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Abdul Qayyum Rana is a Canadian neurologist who specializes in Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders. He is currently working as the Director of Parkinson’s Clinic of Eastern Toronto and Movement Disorders Centre in Toronto, Canada. He has been honoured with the Wayne Hening Award for his research on association on Parkinson’s disease and RLS. Beside his BSc, MD, and FRCPC from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, He has also been awarded an honorary FRCP of the Royal College of Physicians of UK.
Dr. Abdul Qayyum Rana has written several books and published extensively in the field of Neurology, Parkinson’s disease and Movement disorders. He is the founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Parkinsonism and Restless Legs Syndrome and he is founder of the World Parkinson’s Program.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Abdul Qayyum Rana professional interest include non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease, Neurophysiology,and Neuro-ophthalmology.
