Ankit Gupta completed his medical school from AIIMS, New Delhi, India which is consistently recognized as the best medical schools in India. He did a 2 yr post doctoral research fellowship after medical school at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in transplant immunology. He did his Internal Medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago,USA followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep medicine at Thomas Jefferson University hospital in Philadelphia ,USA. He also concurrently did a Masters in Clinical Epidemiology from Jefferson. Currently he is an attending physician at Hartford Healthcare.
Ankit Gupta research interests include general pulmonary, endocrine disorders in the ICU and Critical Care.
