BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Santosh Kesari, MD, PhD is a Professor in Department of Neurosciences and the Director of Neuro-Oncology Program, Translational Neuro-Oncology Laboratories, Neurotoxicity Treatment Center at the Moores Cancer Center, University of California, San Diego. Dr. Kesari has expertise in neuro-oncology, neurologic complications of cancer, general neurology and clinical trials of novel agents in primary and metastatic brain tumors. He has basic science interests in molecular genetics, developmental biology, novel agents for brain tumors, cancer stem cells, biomarkers for brain tumors, drug delivery to brain and developing novel clinical trials for brain cancers based on his lab work.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Santosh Kesari's research interest includes neuro-oncology, neurotoxicity, stem cells, glioblastoma, hydrocephalus.
