BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Joseph Prandota is currently an Emeritus Full Professor of Pediatrics & Clinical Pharmacology affiliated with Faculty of Health Sciences, Wroclaw Medical University, Poland. He received his Ph.D. from Wroclaw Medical University and was working as a fellow or Visiting Professor at Emory University, Atlanta, GA, and LSU in Shreveport, USA, School of Medicine in Paris-Creteil, France, and School of Medicine, Hannover, Germany.
Dr. Joseph Prandota served as an editorial board member of 46 journals in the U.S., UK, Canada, China, Italy, India, and Hong Kong. He published many scientific articles mainly as the only author, and wrote and published a few books, such as for example “Headaches. The Important Role of T. gondii Infection in Molecular Pathomechanisms of Various Neurodegeneration Diseases. Alpha-Medica Press, Bielsko-Biala, Poland 2011.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Headaches, T. ​gondii infection, neurodegenerative diseases, nephrology, clinical pharmacology and therapeutics, atherosclerosis, molecular pathomechanisms of diseases, Inflammation, intracranial hypertension, autoimmune diseases, Infectious Diseases.
