What the licence allows

Scholarena fully supports authors in sharing, disseminating, and maximising the impact of their research.

Author rights

Under our publishing agreement, authors retain copyright and grant Scholarena broad publishing and distribution rights. Specifically, authors have the right to:

• Read, print, share, and download their published work.
• Reuse portions or extracts from the article in other works.
• Copy, redistribute, remix, transfer, and adapt the work provided the original source is cited.

Scholarena allows viewing of this website, but does not grant any rights in relation to the website or the material on it beyond the article-level CC BY licence. All other rights are reserved.

You must not adapt, edit, change, transform, publish, republish, distribute, redistribute, broadcast, rebroadcast, or show in public this website or its material without appropriately and conspicuously citing the original work and source, or without Scholarena's prior written permission.

Scholarena safeguards its copyright seriously. If we notice unauthorised use of copyrighted materials, we may bring legal proceedings seeking monetary damages and an injunction to stop further use, and legal costs may be awarded.

Open access does not mean waiver of attribution. Every article carries a CC BY licence that requires appropriate citation of the original authors and source.
