Dr. Mustafa Canli has completed his PhD at the age of 28 years from Faculty of Science, Glasgow University (U.K.) and postdoctoral studies from Ecotoxicology Lab. in Ghent University (Belgium). He is a fulltime Professor in Biology Department of Çukurova University (Adana, Turkey). He has published more than 60 papers in reputed journals (SCI citation count is 1858 with a H-index value of 19). Basic research interests could be named as molecular aspects of metal and nanoparticle toxicology in the aquatic and terrestrial organisms. He particularly studies the effects of pesticides, metals and nanoparticles on the osmoregulation and antioxidant systems of fish and mammals. However, we have also studied metal toxicity in the lobsters and daphnids.
