Prof. Mamdouh Moawad Ali is professor at Biochemistry Department, Head of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Research Division in the National Research Centre (NRC). He obtained B. Sc. in 1989, M.Sc. in 1995 and Ph.D. in 2000 from Biochemistry Department, faculty of science, Ain Shams University, Egypt. He joined the NRC research team since 1994 till now. He had experience in treatment of different diseases including diabetes, cancer, kidney and heart using the natural products and synthetic compounds. He is authorized for supervision on about 20 M.Sc. and Ph.D. theses in medicine, pharmacy and science, in addition, he participated in > 150 training courses as lecturer and he published > 120 international and national publications, 6 international books, as well as 5 prizes and 1 patent application.
